Earthquakes in Chile, Haiti, Taiwan and Japan, are they related?

Is Mother Earch angry? Is this sign already that something like "End of the World" will happen? I hope not! Or at least it seems that way, with three significant earthquakes in the past week: A 7.0 magnitude quake near Japan last Friday, the huge 8.8 quake near Chile on Saturday, and a 6.4 near Taiwan earlier today. And, of course, there was the devastating 7.0 quake in January in Haiti that killed more than 200,000 people. That's a very bad number of deaths.

Coins from Alexander the Great discovered in Syria

As early as 1st to 4th centuries B.C. coins were found by local man. More than 250 silver coins dating back to the time of Alexander the Great were unearthed in northern Syria, a Syrian archaeologist said Thursday. Youssef Kanjo, the head of archaeological excavations in the ancient city of Aleppo, said the coins were discovered two weeks ago in northern Syria when a local man was digging the foundations of his new home. The local man is a local hero as he discovered one important archaeological treasures.

SeaWorld said that 12,000-pound Tilikum pulled Dawn Brancheau, 40, into the orca's tank about 2p.m..

Former NBA Player Sentenced 5 Years in Prison

The former NBA player was sentenced to a maximum of 5 years in prison. Ex-New Jersey Nets baller Jayson Williams to five years in prison for shooting and killing his limo driver, Costas "Gus" Christofi, in 2002. It is 8 years already since the killing happened.

A tearful Williams, apologized to Christofi's family saying, "There's not a day I wake up and I don't feel sorry for what I did to Mr. Christofi," CNN reported. Atleast he apologized for the crime.

'Deadliest Catch' captain dies of Discovery Channel

Discovery Channel's awesome "Deadliest Catch" reality show has always been very exciting with the bravest captain on board Capt. Phil Harris. The Discovery Channel says the captain of the "Deadliest Catch" fishing vessel Cornelia Marie has died. Capt. Phil Harris suffered what his family described as a massive stroke on Jan. 29 while the boat was in port at St. Paul Island, Alaska. The 53-year-old fisherman was flown to Anchorage for surgery.

Could Howard Stern be the new American Idol judge?

What do you think on Howard Stern as the new American Idol judge? Something tells me we need to keep Howard Stern far, far away from judging American Idol. We announced last week that Stern was in talks with American Idol producers to possibly take Simon Cowell's seat at the judging table. Now Howard is talking about the possibility and convincing me it would be a bad, bad idea.

It's being said that Idol producers are looking for someone controversial to take Simon Cowell's spot as a judge. Yes, Howard Stern is quite controversial, but maybe a little too much so? After all, tons of kids watch American Idol and Stern doesn't exactly have a clean mouth. Yeah, it will make American Idol more interesting and funny to watch.!.

Peyton Manning of Super Bowl field poor in "Sport"

Who is not sport in the world of super bowl? Peyton Manning(notes) didn't shake hands with New Orleans Saints players after his Indianapolis Colts lost 31-17 in Super Bowl XLIV. Apparently some think this is a sign of poor sportsmanship from the NFL's greatest player. It's not.

Walking off the field without congratulating Drew Brees(notes) may go against our misguided notion of what sportsmanship should be, but it wasn't at all disrespectful or bitter. It shows how much Peyton Manning wanted to win the game. And who can argue about that? No one!.
